uninsured services

While most of your care is covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP), certain medical and administrative services are not, and are charged for separately (see below- these are subject to change and some accrue HST).  These costs are in accordance with guidelines set by the Ontario Medical Association (OMA) and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Please be advised that once payment has been received, forms will be completed within two business days.

  • (also includes cancelling an appt with less than 24hr's notice)

  • Prescriptions created during a consultation with a physician or nurse practitioner are free to the patient via OHIP.

Prescription renewals generated outside of a consultation incur a fee of $30 per medication as this is not covered by OHIP.

Renewals of prescriptions usually require a visit to the clinic to re-assess the condition requiring the prescription.

    • Prescriptions are issued at the physicians discretion; excludes narcotics, sedatives or antibiotics.

Please anticipate your renewals and allow two business days t, ask for renewals at each visit and bring your medications to your appointments.
